Nephkids CME was conducted in Hybrid mode on Sept 9 and 10.
DAY 1 (9th September 2023) – FLUID & ELECTROLYTES WORKSHOP
Total of 105 delegates and faculties participated in this interactive case-based fluid and electrolyte workshop session. The event was held in the Auditorium of Apollo Hospital and was chaired by Dr S Thangavelu and Dr Saradha Sathish. The session comprised of six segments, with each moderator providing an overview of the topic and the panelists discussing the case scenarios.
DAY 2 (10th September 2023)
DR M VIJAYAKUMAR MEDAL EXAM:
Enthusiastic Pediatric postgraduates participated in Dr M Vijayakumar Medal examination, with the first prize being 25,000 INR, the second prize 15,000 INR and the third prize 10,000 INR, which were awarded to the winners from various institutes. Consolation prize of 9000 INR was awarded to 7 more candidates.
CME and 14th Annual Dr BR Nammalwar Oration:
A total of 145 delegates and faculties participated in this CME which focused on a range of topics for Pediatric trainees and practitioners. To promote active participation, a keypad session was organized, which received positive feedback from all attendees and the winner was awarded a cash prize of 10,000 INR.
