DAY 1 – 14th September 2024
DR M VIJAYAKUMAR 7th MEDAL EXAM:
Pediatric postgraduates actively participated in Dr M Vijayakumar Medal examination. This year 60 delegates participated in the exam, winner were awarded with the first prize being 30,000 INR, the second prize 20,000 INR and the third prize 10,000 INR, All the three winners were from JIPMER institutes. Consolation prize of 10000 INR was awarded to 7 candidates.
FLUID & ELECTROLYTE WORKSHOP :
More than 300 delegates and faculties participated on hybrid mode in this interactive case-based fluid and electrolyte workshop sessions. The event was held in the three different hall at Apollo Hospital, workshop was chaired by Dr S Thangavelu and Dr Saradha RC. The session comprised of six segments, with each moderator providing an overview of the topic and the panelists discussing the case scenarios.
DAY 2 – 15th September 2024
CME and 15th Annual Dr BR Nammalwar Oration:
More than 100 delegates and faculties participated in this CME which focused on a range of topics for Pediatric trainees and practitioners. To promote active participation, a keypad session was organized, which received positive feedback from all attendees and the Polling competition winner was awarded a cash prize of 10,000 INR.
